最近一直闲的蛋疼，收了个KESTREL 4000NV POCKET WEATHER METER TRACKER 希望对COS STS细节上有所补充。
先上个到手后随拍的图：

再来介绍下KESTREL 4000NV POCKET WEATHER METER TRACKER大致情况。

KESTREL 4000 POCKET WEATHER METER TRACKER大约于2000年研发生产。由于能精确测量各种基本气候数据且非常便于携带，因此至今仍被包括U.S. Special Forces, USAF STS等部队使用(NSN:6660015533697)，其他如wildland firefighters, smoke jumpers, 珠峰攀登队等民间人士也大量使用。2005年有了4000的升级版本4000NV，主要是为了配合部队在夜间的使用，特意将背光补光的部分蓝色和绿色光谱滤除，以便减少使用者长时间使用后的视力受损，当然也利于黑暗环境下不被敌人发现。KESTREL 4000 POCKET WEATHER METER TRACKER具有防水功能，传感器准确，能自动记录测量值并储存多达4000个测量点的数值，五种语言可选，当然还是made in USA的。

Kestrel 4000 （NV）主要测量数据包括：
Barometric pressure 气压
Pressure trend          气压变化趋势
Altitude                      海拔
Relative humidity       相对湿度
Heat stress index       热压力指数
Dewpoint                   露点（在此温度时，空气饱和并产生露珠）
Wet bulb temperature 湿球温度（在潮湿的情况下的散热的下限温度）
Density altitude          实际的空气密度值
Wind chill                   风寒指数（不同温度不同风速下的体感温度）
Air, water, and snow temperature 空气，水，温度和雪等介质的温度
Current wind speed 当前风速
Average wind speed 平均风速
Maximum wind gust 最大风速

Available in the NV Configuration

Military personnel and pilots flying in darkness are often concerned with preserving their night vision. Due to overwhelming demand from our military customers, the Kestrel NV line was added in 2005.

The Kestrel 4000NV is available with an Olive Drab case or a Desert Tan case. The unit has a night-vision preserving backlight which helps users to sustain natural night vision. The NV's backlight incorporates an optical filter to reduce overall brightness and minimize blue and green spectrum light to preserve night vision. Additionally, NV backlights are also much dimmer than a standard backlight, making it more difficult to detect with the naked eye in night operations. This backlight appears soft greyish pink, not red, and is still in the visible spectrum, so is not compatible with night-vision equipment.

It takes 30 to 45 minutes for the average eye to adapt to darkness and maximize night vision. Even a short burst of white, yellow, green or blue light “bleaches out” the rod cell photoreceptors in the eye and causes night blindness until the entire adaptation process can take place again. Light in the red spectrum does not cause this “bleaching out”, preventing night blindness and night vision fatigue.

刚拿去户外测了一下，风速最大1.4，最小0.3。树荫下35℃，阳光下38摄氏度，海拔69m，气压1005百帕...

风寒指数简单的解释就是：有风的情况下  身体感觉的温度和实际的气温是不一样的
大夏天的骑摩托是不是也冷呢？大概就是这个意思
有一个完整的公式  也有人做出了不同温度不同风速下的体感温度的速查表  在登山活动中应用较多

湿球温度简单的解释就是：在潮湿的情况下的散热的下限温度
2温度计  一个正常放置  叫做干球温度  另一个用湿布包着  得到的温度就是湿球温度

我是一边接一个PTT，每个PTT接一个电台，一个V段的一个U段的。两个插口的PTT貌似就是把双通的改成立体声而已吧。我以前也试过，两根线接一个PTT....

气压式海拔高度计都需要根据所在地海平面气压值来做基础设定，而所在地的海平面气压值是如楼上的小米所说随天气变化而变化的，所以气压式海拔高度计误差很吓人！痱子这个遥控器用来测个气压、风速、湿度还是可以的！带小朋友出去的时候做做气象预报不错~~~

痱子兄，有个问题想问一下，这个东西的海拔高度也是通过气压算出来吗？如果是这样的话那天气情况对海拔高度的测量值应该会有比较大的影响咯？

感觉是通过测量Barometric pressure和Density altitude 的数值套用某个公式后得出海拔高度，应该比只依据气压测来的准确。Density altitude完全是空气密度的基础上的概念，既不是“气压高度”或“平均海平面高度”，而是标准的“密度高度”（即海拔在哪高度，空气有一定的密度值）。

关于Density altitude 我没找到合适的中文解释，只找到英文的。

What is density altitude?
Density altitude is defined as the altitude at which the density of the International Standard Atmosphere (ISA) is the same as the density of the air being evaluated. (The Standard Atmosphere is simply a mathematical model of the atmosphere which is standardized so that predictable calculations can be made.)
So, the basic idea of calculating density altitude is to calculate the actual density of the air, and then find the altitude at which that same air density occurs in the International Standard Atmosphere.
In the following paragraphs, we'll go step by step through the process of calculating the actual density of the air, and then determining the corresponding density altitude.
And finally, at the very end of this article, we'll compare the accurate density altitude calculations with the results of a greatly simplified equation which ignores the effects due to water vapor in the air.

Some different meanings of the word "altitude":
An aircraft altimeter measures only air pressure... nothing else. If the air pressure changes, due to temperature or humidity, then an aircraft altimeter will of course change to indicate the actual air pressure. Nonetheless, the aircraft altimeter is simply measuring air pressure. As odd as it may seem, an aircraft altimeter does not actually measure altitude, it only measures pressure. Hence, the name "pressure altitude" is properly applied to any aircraft altimeter reading. For pilots, it is very important to understand that an aircraft altimeter only measures air pressure (not altitude). This point is especially important to understand with the ever-increasing use of GPS. An aircraft flying at a specific pressure altitude (as indicated by an altimeter) may note some other altitude displayed on the GPS (which measures actual distance above mean sea level). In some cases this difference is small... but in some cases it could be enough to cause a mid-air collision if a pilot was flying on a GPS altitude rather than pressure altitude. (To solve that problem, some GPS units do include an air pressure sensor so that they can indicate pressure altitude.) Therefore, it is crucial to always verify what is meant by "altitude", and differentiate a pressure-based measurement of "pressure altitude" from a distance-based measurement of actual altitude. Density altitude is a concept based solely on air density, and is neither "pressure altitude" nor "mean sea-level altitude", but is strictly "density altitude" (the altitude at which the air has a certain value of density). Now... on to Density Altitude.....

不要说手机，就是卡西欧的手表也可以，买个水银温度计也可以，听收音机里的天气预报也可以，方式多得很。乓乓也号称是玩军品的，居然说出这种话，就像夏天里看到有人下场时候会上去问“侬热伐？”。是不是太低级了点？

这咚咚军版和民版系没有本质上的区别的，最大的区别可能是颜色上。。。
PS：这东西在各地的测绘用品店都可以找到，不难找。
